CSI SUMMER CAMP
Basketball Learn, Practice , Play
The CSI Sports camp is dedicated to create an educational environment that helps children develop game skills, self-confidence, improve social skills, and learn how to set and achieve goals under the direction of our staff's . The curriculum consist of basketball instruction, fundamental teaching stations, round robin play and fun skill challenges periods.
Swimming
CSI Swimming Time
During each day each camper will have the opportunity to cool off as well as learn about the importance of water safety and the introduction to swimming. This includes being comfortable & safe in the water while learning to float and swim to each side.
Sports Program
Our athletic team has created a multi-faceted curriculum designed to assist your child in developing sport-specific skills while being active and having fun. The program will feature skill building in the following sports basketball, soccer, flag football , floor hockey and more. In addition, we will have an entire week focused on Olympic style sports.
Drama
Campers will learn singing, dancing, and acting skills while exploring a different theme each week. Each week will culminate with a short showcase performance on Friday which will incorporate props created by the students
S.T.E.M: Robotics Cubelets
Cubelets are robot blocks that help teach important problem-solving skills – like collaboration, engineering, design, and computational thinking. Ages 5-7yr old
Drone
Drone technology is quickly becoming a useful tool for many career fields, and satisfies all four major components of STEM learning (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Campers will not only learn to fly within the rules and regulations, but they will also become familiar with the construction and aeronautics of unmanned aircrafts. Younger campers (8-9) will learn how to fly small toy drones while the older campers (10-14) will experience first person view or FPV Drone racing and Drone Soccer!!!
Camps Trips
Our campers go on trips to New York Giants or Jets Training Camp, Baseball Games, Liberty Science Center and more
Pinewood Derby
It's a tradition that goes way back in the Boy Scouts organization. Where we give them a block of wood, four plastic wheels, a little bit of paint and let their IMAGINATION RUN WILD! Our team members are experts and they are here to get you out of the pits and into the race with the car of your dreams! Featuring are brand new USL PRO Track.
Gaming Academy
USL Summer Camp also has a strong focus on educational tabletop games such as chess, battleship, and other collaborative academics games that offer unique intellectual challenges
Academic Enrichment
During the camp, we designate a day or two every week for campers to take part in academic school work that will include summer reading, S.T.E.M program, debate programs and homework packets which can be completed during the academic period with the support of their instructor and volunteer tutors.
